Thermodynamic analysis of four possible additives, Na 2 CO 3, Na 2 C 2 O 4, NaF and Na 2 SO 4, indicated that both carbonate and oxalate could potentially provide effective separation of Ca via precipitation from Mg in FGD wastewater.
