Ingredients

  • 1 ½ packets (300 g) finely-crushed digestive biscuits
  • 6 Tbsp (90 g) melted butter
  • 250 g finely-chopped dates
  • ½ cup (125 ml) ground almonds
  • Half a can NESTLÉ SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
  • 1 small can (155 g) NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 orange
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  • Mix 1½ packets (300 g) finely-crushed digestive biscuits with 6 Tbsp (90 g) melted butter and press into a 25 cm tart dish.
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes while you make the filling.
  • Mix 250 g finely-chopped dates, ½ cup (125 ml) ground almonds, ½ (half) a 385 g can NESTLÉ SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, 1 small can (155 g) NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream, 1 egg, grated rind of 1 orange and ½ tsp (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon.
  • Bake for 30 mins.
  • Serve with lashings of NESTLÉ Dessert & Cooking Cream.
